Sermon Text: Hebrews 6:13-20

Alive, Forever, Amen

Our celebration of the resurrection of Jesus continues this weekend. This Hunter Street favorite rejoices in the reality of the resurrection — "the empty tomb stands open... come and see!"

O Church, Arise

This modern hymn is a call for the Church to follow Christ, our Captain, into battle and to serve Him "in the strength that God has given." The lyrics point us to the confidence we have to fight because of the work Christ has done — "the outcome is secure ... this victory march continues..."

Strong God

Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts;
his name is the LORD; exult before him!
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. (Psalm 68:4-5, ESV)

Blood of Jesus, Be My All

As we prepare to hear the preaching of God's Word, we sing the gospel. This worship song leads us to the power of the blood of Jesus — in His atoning sacrifice for our sins, Jesus made it possible for us to draw near to God (Heb 10:19-22).

Christ, the Sure and Steady Anchor

This modern hymn is based on this week's sermon text. We will learn it and respond by singing it together.
