Sermon Text: Hebrews 5:1-10

Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee

We open with this classic hymn of adoration — emphasizing that God is the Giver and Creator of all. Our response to Him is filled with joy!

You Are God Alone

Our God stands alone in His rule and His reign. This worship song reminds us that He was not created, nor is He in need of anything we have; He is God alone. And because of that, He is the only One worthy of worship.

And Can It Be

As believers in Jesus, our worship must be decidedly Christ-centered. We worship God not just for His greatness, but also for His goodness as displayed in the gospel — Jesus died for our sin. Our worship choir will lead in this anthem of praise celebrating God's amazing love.

Your Great Name

In response to the preaching of God's Word, we will take the Lord's Supper together. As we receive the elements of communion (the bread and cup), we sing of the saving power of Jesus' name.

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.  — Acts 4:12
